“Simpler, please”. This is the first call of today’s generation when it gets to designing their home interiors! The journey of designing the dream home of Apoorva and Arvind at Prestige Falcon in Bengaluru was no different. The couple wanted a minimalist style of home interiors but one that was no less but classy! Arvind and Apoorva are fans of minimalism, light colour schemes and easy to clean materials. They wanted us to design their home interiors around the same.
Let’s look in detail the design and thought that went into completing this stunner of a design.
A Modern Minimalistic Style Living Room
This minimalistic living room features an L-shaped upholstered sofa in a classic blue durable fabric. Blue was chosen to hide the inevitable spills by the little one at home. A simple wall-mounted floating TV unit with a light grey wall in the backdrop was added to space. The colour scheme of this living room is cool with abundant use of refreshing blues and whites. Hints of grey break the monotony of white. The modern nesting coffee table in gold doubles up as two and adds a blingy touch to this minimalistic style living room.
A Traditional Dining Experience
This industrial style dining room is practical and makes maximum use of space. A dark walnut dining table brings in a traditional vibe and blends with the pooja unit which has traditional design details in the same colour tone. The dining area also has a sleek crockery unit in white high gloss laminate with ample storage to stash away crockery and display knick-knacks against a grey feature wall. Tying all these design elements together is the false wooden ceiling in walnut finish topped with LED profile lights.
Quiet Sophistication Of A Minimal Kitchen
This kitchen design lives up to the design brief. A minimalistic kitchen design with concealed handles and storage options. This L-shaped kitchen finished in white high-gloss laminate offers a seamless look. Ample storage options have been provided with a combination of wall cabinets, overhead cabinets, tandem drawers, basic drawers and shelves. Concealed handles have been used as they are perfect for families with kids because they are not pointed or sharp.

A Minimalistic Style Master Bedroom With A Traditional Touch
This master bedroom is designed with all the elements to keep it clutter-free! The bedroom features a hydraulic box bed with storage to keep all the seldom-used stuff neatly in one place. The colour palette of this master bedroom is white and browns. A self-texture wallpaper on the feature wall with a white high gloss laminate finish on the wardrobes and a brown walnut border brings in a traditional touch. The wardrobe has been designed with a mirror pull out with an open shelf section.

A Whimsical Kids Bedroom
This playful kids bedroom has been designed keeping in mind that kids grow really fast! The design of this kids bedroom will stand the test of time. The colour palette of this bedroom is white and teal with pink accents that make this a perfect for a growing kid. Ample space is left free in the middle of the room for feed time and block building. The huge wardrobe with storage is finished with a glossy white laminate so that the bedroom looks bigger. A couple of floating shelves have been included in the interior design of this bedroom to display photographs and small showpieces.
