Job Description / Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill the position of Cutlist

• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine the optimal use of materials and minimize waste.
• Generate cutlists, including the type and size of materials required for each project.
• Ensure that cutlists accurately reflect the specifications and requirements of each project.
• Communicate with project managers and production workers to ensure that cutlists are used accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor the use of materials and supplies, and order replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and supplies, including the type, size, and cost of each item.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the use of materials and reduce waste.

Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately calculate the quantity and size of materials required for each project.
• Deep understanding of woodworking, including the types and properties of different woods and the tools and techniques used in furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project managers and production workers.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and spreadsheet software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
